Roof flashings are a thin protective layer that can be made out of a variety of metals. The purpose of roof flashings are to direct rain water away from critical and vulnerable areas of the roof. Critical and vulnerable areas include joints, chimneys, vents and valleys. When roof flashings are properly installed, they prevent leaks, maintain the roof's structural integrity and improves the lifespan of the roof by sealing intersections.

Roof trims are used to seal the joints of a roof. This is done to prevent water leaking, provide protection against wind uplift and accommodate the expansion and contraction of metal panels caused by temperature changes. Roof trims also give the roof a more finished aesthetic as it gives the edges of the roof better detail.

Roof caps are a critical component that are installed where the two slopes of the roof meet. This is done to create a weather tight and air tight seal and to protect the roof from intrusion and pests. Roof caps also provide a more clean and finished look to the roofline.
